Target Audience

Physicians, nurses and podiatrists who treat patients with wounds

 Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the various types of debridement options that are clinically available
  • Review the evidence behind each debridement technique
  • Evaluate the health-economic and clinical impact of various debridement protocols
  • Explore recent and proposed future regulations on debridement / wound care and the potential impact on our industry

CME Accreditation

This activity is sponsored by the North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME). NACCME is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
