Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
- Chart the patient populations with significant hepatitis B virus (HBV) risk and prevalence and list considerations for screening and management
- Describe the clinical and economic impact of HBV infection, including disease progression and complications
- Outline the impact of standard and newer therapies on improving outcomes and reducing viral replication and drug resistance
- Apply evidence-based guidelines to support best practices in HBV management across special patient populations
Activity Overview
Interactive case vignette activities consist of 4 patient case studies with polling questions integrated throughout.
To be eligible for documentation of credit, participants must complete 4 case studies, answer all polling questions, and complete the evaluation form. After successful completion of the evaluation form online at www.naccme.com, participants may immediately print their documentation of credit.
