Summarize current evidence-based guidelines and quality measures for venous thromboembolism (VTE) risk stratification, prophylaxis, and management
Explain the increased risk of VTE and/or complications of VTE management associated with frequent comorbidities, such as cancer, renal insufficiency, and older age
Implement effective VTE management protocols for special patient populations, including appropriate dosing and monitoring strategies
Apply current VTE guidelines and measures to improve outcomes across the continuum of care
